About

I have been a Bainbridge resident for the past 12 years. I have family ties to long time residents on the island, my children also attend local schools. It is my goal to service and give back to our community to the best of my ability.

I have been in a construction related field for decades, which gives me considerable insight into issues found in a home along with their possible causes. I have been a general contractor in the area for 12+ years now. I also continue to hold my general contracting license and actively still perform some construction work. The majority of the construction work I currently do is related to moisture damage, storm damage, and repairing major structural issues. I'm well versed in all phases of construction from foundation to finish

I've been a licensed home inspector in the state of WA now for 3+ years in which I have performed well over 500 inspections. I was trained through the AHIT program and currently am a member of ASHI. I currently perform many different types of inspections. Pre-listing and buyers transaction inspections are by far the majority of my inspection experience. I do however perform other special inspections as well. Foreclosure, new construction, structural, individual system inspections are among some special inspections offered as individual services. Home maintenance inspections are also highly recommended for current home owners

A home is more than just a structure that provides your family with protection and safety. Every home is a living breathing entity in itself. In this modern era of technology, having the newest gadgets will not automatically help with a thorough inspection. In order to achieve the best results it takes detective work as well as a thorough knowledge of how a homes systems interconnect andoperate with each other. Having this knowledge helps to identify the true problems that exist in a home and how to properly repair a major issue. Diagnosing symptoms without tying issues together leads to a less than satisfactory result.

As a home inspector, my goal is to educate sellers and buyers without creating undueconfusion, fear, or time delays. First and foremost, the client is my number one concern. My job is to provide a straight forward honest report to my client with no outside interference. I also know the importance of time to the transactions involved in selling and buying a home. It is my goal to always have quick availability, and quick report turn around time.
